a day in the sun

Well, another Sunday has come and just about gone. This weekend there was a wedding at church, but they had an orchestra and didn’t really need my services so I was at work as usual. This morning Chris Muse preached at church and I truly enjoyed it, paid attention and everything. Not much happened through this week and I spent the afternoon doing laundry because I realized that I hadn’t since I got back from Arkansas. It’s almost Thanksgiving, so like most people; I’m starting to think about Christmas. I still have no idea what I want. I have picked out and even gotten a few gifts for other people, but I haven’t really been seeing anything that I really want or need. Anyway, for the coming week I plan to work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday; even though Tuesday is usually my day off we’re closed for Thanksgiving and I want to go ahead and get a full paycheck so I can continue Christmas shopping. I don’t think the youth are doing anything this Wednesday because of the holidays, so It’ll be a pretty boring week (so if anybody wants to do something, comment me, drop me a line, of call). Well, [adult swim] is starting, so I think that’ll do it.

[as]

I’m just sitting here watching [adult swim] and being bored. Thought I’d update a little…

Well, today was Youth Sunday @ church (again). I was so busy this morning; playing the video call to worship, the CDs for music, the DVD for communion, and of course all the slides for worship. But it went awesomely, really fun. I am more impressed with those kids everyday. Anyway, I also got a modem for my computer so I can get on the internet for home. It’s dial-up, but still, cool!

Okay, that should do it, later

Title

Hey, not much had been happening lately, but I figured that it was time for an update. I had a job interview with Cutting Edge Communications (the people who put in the sound and projector systems at church) and am waiting to hear back. Also, this weekend I’m going to a youth ministry event without any kids at Camp Couchdale in Hot Springs, AR called F.E.A.S.T. (though I can’t remember what that stood for). So I had to work today even though Tuesday is usually my day off cause we’re leaving around noon on Friday. Well, that’s all for now. Later, Nate.
