and so on

Still very little is going on in my life. The guy who put in the sound system and the projectors at my church told me he might have a job opening for me (something to do with computers). Oh, and my birthday is in 6 days! WOOT! Anyway, as an added bonus here's a

Mobile update

I updated my xanga with my phone on Sunday night since it will go online. Here's a copy of what I said:

"Updating with my phone. Anyway, the wedding rehersal got moved to thursday (15th) so I went to fall-fest on friday (16th) and ended up staying the night cuz they wanted one more person in the cabins. I left after breakfast and got back for the wedding to do sound. Then I helped Kenny move somemore stuff into his and Colleen's new rent house and we came back to put the stage at church back together. Not a whole lot happend today (18th), and we had CHI-RHO but no CYF since they just got back from camp. Oh, Donna Robinson helped with youth and will probably keep helping. Well, I think I'm done for now. Later -nate"

Little has happened since then, though I forgot to mention that Sunday was Goeff's 25th birthday, so I think this will suffice for an update. PEACE!

Good and “not-so-good” activities

Hey, not a whole lot has been going on lately. I went with the youth to Enid to watch the Choctaw/Enid High School football game. Took some pictures too.

And then on Sunday we finished painting the boxes for youth Sunday and also tape-tied up Rachel and painted her too, so here’s a pic of that as well.

Then last night our youth met up with the youth at FCC MWC for a SYATP (See You At The Pole) rally (no pictures, sorry), and I got a cool new blue rubber band bracelet for SYATP too.
Oh, and today I had an interview at the new Target, so I might be working there soon.

On an extreme downer note, my older brother Brandon went to the hospital today for chest pains and we won’t really know anything till like 5pm when the doctor finally shows up.

But so as to end on the upbeat, Brandon and his girlfriend Amy got engaged and are getting married! So that rocks! Anyway, later!

bored and unemployed (sorta)

Well, as usual it's been a whole month since my last post, but for once something almost post-worthy has happened in the meantime. As of Aug. 13th, I no longer work at Rose State College, even though I got to work part-time through the summer without taking classes, now that the Fall semester has started up they have plenty of work studies to cover the computer lab, and since I didn’t get any financial aid for this semester (and probably next semester too) I won’t be taking any classes or doing work study in the lab. I applied for the assistant computer lab supervisor job, but didn’t get it. I have also applied for a computer specialist/hardware tech job at Rose, and put in an application at Target. So even though I plan on applying a few more places I am once again playing the waiting game. I had really been enjoying helping out with the youth at church, but apparently people have been complaining again that I’m not in Choir Practice, and to make matters worse they moved choir from 5:30 to 5pm (right when youth starts) so I’m barely gonna get to say hi anymore. I will still get to help them finish up planning Youth Sunday (Sept. 11th) and this Sunday there won’t be practice because of the holiday so I can hang out with the kids one more week anyway. Oh, and peaking of church, we recently put in two projectors and a computer and a DVD/VCR so we can do slideshows and stuff now (and guess who got put in charge of that, or course me!) which is kinda cool, but time consuming and not yet worth what we paid for it. I can’t wait till we have some kind of movie night though, it’ll be almost as good as a theater! Well, I better go, still more job hunting to do.

Take it sleazy!
